You will stay in a private Provencal villa nestled in the countryside of the Luberon Valley, surrounded by vineyards. Imagine waking up to the birdsong, bathed in the golden light of Provence, where the quiet valley whispers peace into your soul.

During the retreat, you’ll have the opportunity to visit and photograph this stunning site, along with many more hand-picked locations full of character and inspiration.
Countryside exploration. Each day includes guided excursions to picturesque hilltop villages, poppy fields, vineyards, and tucked-away landscapes perfect for photography and artistic inspiration.
Embrace your inner artist. Discover the magic of making lumen prints with foraged flowers and herbs, and unleash your inner artist as you create simple watercolors and charming sketches in your travel journal—no experience required! Relax, take in the beauty of Provence, and let your creativity shine.
Photography classes. A fun and inspiring way to explore new techniques and hands-on creative approaches, guided by Raina and Joni. No experience required, but if photography isn’t your thing—no worries! With two leaders, there’s plenty of flexibility and space for everyone to enjoy a variety of activities. Whether you’re diving into photography or exploring other adventures, there’s something for everyone to make the experience unforgettable.
Enjoy authentic meals prepared with locally sourced ingredients — both in cozy bistros and at the villa’s shared table.
Antique & local market adventures. Wander charming open-air markets, photograph colorful scenes, and perhaps find a treasure to take home.
Get ready for a truly unique experience—learn to craft your own gin using fragrant herbs from Provence, all in one of the most breathtaking settings you can imagine. Even better? You’ll create your very own custom bottle with a recipe that’s uniquely yours!
Artisan studio visits. Meet and local makers in their element — from ceramicists to textile artists — and gain behind-the-scenes access to their creative processes.

Raina stinson
Originally from Portland, Oregon and now a full-time resident of Provence for the past 7½ years—is an internationally acclaimed photographer with a deep passion for storytelling, adventure, and living life to the fullest. Known for her vibrant spirit and infectious laugh, Raina brings a sense of fun and curiosity to everything she does. She’ll be sharing her favorite hidden gems and less-traveled paths she’s discovered over the years, offering you a unique, insider’s view of the authentic Provençal lifestyle.
Joni Kabana
An internationally acclaimed photographer, writer, and artist from Spray, Oregon, with a heartfelt love for France. Joni brings not only her remarkable creative talents but also her boundless joy for life and passion for sharing unforgettable adventures with others. Her energy is contagious, and her enthusiasm for art and human connection shines through in every experience she creates.
